EAST TEXAS ASSETS
CCI acquired its East Texas portfolio through multiple transactions, starting with the acquisition of Patara Oil & Gas LLC’s East Texas assets in 2014. CCI continued to build its position through the acquisition of EDF's East Texas assets in 2015. In 2016, CCI acquired Anadarko Petroleum Corporation’s Carthage upstream and midstream assets in East Texas for approximately $1 billion.
As of December 2016, CCI owns over 160,000 net acres and has net production of approximately 250 MMcfe per day. This collection of assets serves as our anchor investment in a key North American gas basin and are primarily operated by CCI with natural gas production predominantly from the Haynesville, Cotton Valley and Bossier formations.
